Terms of use

The rules for booking with salons through Nolatech Salon, and for salons using it.

Draft

About these terms

Nolatech Salon is run by [Operator legal name]. By booking through it, joining a waitlist, or signing in, you agree to these terms. Salons also agree to a separate service agreement with us, which wins if it says something different.

Booking with Demo Salon

Your booking is with the salon, not with us: the salon provides the service, sets its prices, and is responsible for it. We provide the booking system.

When you pick a time, it is held for 5 minutes while you enter your details; it's yours once you see the confirmation. Prices shown are the salon's; a promotion code you apply lowers the price of that booking.

Please give accurate contact details: they're how the salon reaches you about your appointment.

Changing or cancelling

You can cancel from the link in your confirmation. To move a booking, use that link or contact the salon. The salon may have its own cancellation or no-show policy (for example, a fee or a deposit you lose); it will show it to you before you book once deposits are switched on.

The salon may need to move or cancel your booking (for example, if a staff member is ill); it will tell you as soon as it can.

Waitlist

Joining a waitlist doesn't reserve anything. When a matching time opens, we tell the first few people waiting, and the first to book gets it. You can leave the list from the link you got when you joined; you're taken off it when you book that service.

Messages

Appointment messages are described in the SMS terms. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.

For salons

Salons are responsible for the accuracy of their services, prices, hours and staff details; for having permission to message their clients; for how their staff use the accounts they're given; and for honouring bookings made through the service.

Salons must not use the service to send messages clients haven't agreed to, to store information they have no right to hold, or to break any law.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no booking times you don't intend to keep to block others, no attempts to get at other people's information or another salon's data, no automated scraping, and no interfering with how it runs.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running and your bookings safe, but it is provided as is, and we can't promise it will never be unavailable or wrong. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to [liability cap]. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

The salon, not us, is responsible for the services it provides.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the new version applies from the date shown. These terms are governed by the law of [State or country whose law applies]. Contact: [Operator legal name], [Operator postal address].
